Love Letters #38

A woman confesses her shame at not defending Art Fullerton when others ridiculed him, despite loving him deeply. When Bert takes her to an amusement park to cheer her up, she realizes she's been in love with Bert all along, not Art. Art eventually returns and proposes, but she must choose between the man she thought she loved and the man who truly cares for her. The story concludes with her accepting Bert's proposal after Art gracefully steps aside, and Mr. Swanton arranging an engagement celebration at an upscale club.
