Love Letters #23

"Too Trusting" follows a woman who becomes involved with a man named Randy after sending him studio photographs. She writes him passionate love letters, but when Randy's friend Lew Morse visits and reveals that Randy treated him poorly over a desk, she grows disillusioned and breaks things off by letter. After accepting a theater date with another man, she attends a show where Randy performs and realizes her feelings for him remain strong. The woman's jealousy intensifies when she learns Randy is busy with another woman, leading her to contemplate returning home. Upon her return, her family's reaction to discovering Randy's involvement causes her to finally confront the issue, ultimately leading the police to become involved in the matter.
