An anthology of romance stories told through correspondence and recollection. The first story follows a woman named Yvonne whose fiancé Derek suffers a job accident causing amnesia, erasing all memory of their love; through her patient devotion, Derek recovers both his memory and their happiness. The second story depicts a woman who encounters a handsome stranger at the opera house while singing an aria from Carmen; after an instant connection, they meet at the National Gallery where he reveals his name is Ted Royce, and they begin a romantic relationship. A third story features a woman named Marcia meeting a charming man at an art gallery, with whom she makes plans to explore the city together.
