Abby Tennyson is visiting her mother and sister the night before her wedding to Mark Spencer [Crusader]. She wakes up in her apartment, and is the only person who remembers she was about to get married. It appears Crusader died three years earlier, and Abby is the only one who has memories of those three years with the Crusader being alive. Abyy seeks help from Crusader's superhero friends, who believe the Evil Brain went back in time to kill Crusader. They cast a disguise spell over Abby and send her back to the day Crusader died, which was also the day of her first date with Mark Spencer.
