Louca #7
The seventh volume of Bruno Dequier's Louca series sets the stage with a cover that says everything about the odds our young boxer is facing: Louca, gloved up in his red boxing gear, stares upward at a towering, heavily tattooed opponent whose sheer physical presence dwarfs him completely — while a handful of onlookers watch from ringside. "Foutu pour foutu" — roughly "might as well go for broke" — captures that underdog spirit perfectly, and Dequier's clean, expressive linework makes the size gap feel both daunting and oddly exciting. A great entry in this Dupuis series for anyone who loves sports stories with heart.
