The five-issue miniseries written by Steve Niles reaches its blood-soaked conclusion here, with Glenn Fabry's cover painting leaving very little to the imagination about the horror that awaits inside. A young dark-haired woman in a torn white dress stands drenched in blood — her wide, unsettling smile and wild eyes suggesting something has gone terribly, beautifully wrong — surrounded by vivid crimson splatter across a sickly green background. It's a striking, visceral send-off to one of DC's mature-readers horror offerings of 2013, rendered with Fabry's characteristically meticulous painted detail.
