In "A merced del Dr. Muerte," the Avengers are lured to Latveria under false pretenses, only to be captured and imprisoned. Escaping their cells with ease, they soon discover a powerful force field trapping them within the country—leading them straight to the Dr. Muerte’s castle, where the villain has orchestrated a deadly game to provoke war.
In "La voz de la Avispa," Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne sail across the Atlantic in their lab-boat when they detect Namor heading toward New York. With their radio broken, the Avispa takes flight to warn the Avengers—only to be captured by Attuma, who mistakes her for a spy during his underwater invasion using a wave-generating machine. After escaping, she sends a desperate alert, but three Avengers sent to rescue her are quickly captured. Meanwhile, back at the Mansion, a new threat looms over Hawkeye.
