Los Archivos de Steve Ditko #1
This Spanish-language collection gathers Steve Ditko's early work for Charlton Comics, reprinting his suspense and mystery stories from the 1950s. It compiles issues of Strange Suspense Stories and other titles, showcasing Ditko's distinctive art and storytelling before his legendary runs at Marvel and DC. The volume is part of Diábolo Ediciones' archival series dedicated to the master cartoonist's complete works.
In "Alargar las Cosas," Dawson, a man with brittle bone syndrome, finds a terrifying new lease on life after Dr. Doyle’s experimental treatment grants him elastic abilities—only to twist his mind with paranoia and violence. As he evades capture, fleeing from one scientist to another, each encounter ends in bloodshed, his body stretching beyond human limits. When the police finally close in, they find only a shapeless puddle where Dawson once stood.
