Loose Ends bills itself as "a 4 issue Southern crime romance," and this second chapter delivers that mood in full on a cover layered like a doodle-covered notebook page — rough, energetic sketches of a crowded, chaotic scene bleed through the background while a woman lounges against a car in the foreground, cigarette in hand, looking like she owns every inch of trouble around her. A long-haired figure lights up amid the frenzy above, and a striking woman in white commands attention at center, the whole composition feeling simultaneously spontaneous and carefully charged.
