“The Secret Lagoon”

Bugs Bunny takes center stage on this cheerful 1961 Dell issue, using a hand mirror to redirect an incoming arrow straight back toward a bullseye target — pure Bugs ingenuity on full display. Tony Strobl's cover pencils capture the wascally rabbit's signature smirk as he turns the tables with effortless style. A delightful snapshot of the Looney Tunes gang's humor at its lightest and most playful.

The city is sponsoring a big water parade with entrants having to dress up like nursery rhyme characters. Elmer is operating a shoe-repair business and has a large wooden shoe for a sign.
