Bugs Bunny has clearly taken up art — and poor Elmer Fudd is his unwilling canvas — in this cheerful 1960 Dell offering. The cover, penciled by Fred Abranz, shows a dapper Bugs in a purple artist's coat and beret, palette in hand, gleefully painting a pink-domed Elmer while gesturing grandly toward a globe. It's a wonderfully silly snapshot of the duo's enduring rivalry, packaged in that warm, wholesome style that made Dell's Looney Tunes a staple of the newsstand era.
