A March 1959 Dell treat, this issue of Looney Tunes features a cover by Tony Strobl that captures the eternal cat-and-mouse energy between Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd — only here the battlefield is the garage. Elmer, wrench in hand and a spare tire at his feet, is perched precariously on a car jack while a grinning Bugs coolly holds the jack handle, clearly in complete control of the situation. It's the kind of cheerful, perfectly timed mischief that made this series a ten-cent delight for readers of all ages.
