Looney Tunes #175
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA delightful 1956 Dell offering from the long-running Looney Tunes series, this issue features a cover by Ralph Heimdahl that captures the duo's endless rivalry in fine form. Elmer Fudd looks genuinely bewildered as he holds a baseball signed "Bugs," while a grinning Bugs Bunny — decked out in a yellow jacket and red suspenders — leans smugly through a broken window frame, having apparently shattered the glass to snag the ball right out of Elmer's hands. It's a wonderfully absurd snapshot of cartoon mischief, and the interior story "Heir by a Hare" — with art by Tony Strobl, inked by John Liggera — promises more of the same irreverent fun.
