“Jack in Box”

In "Jack in Box," El Gazo the fortune teller, fed up with Bugs and Porky's skepticism, uses his mystic powers to transport the duo into the 24th Century—where they're reborn as Captain Dash Rabbit and Captain Buck Pig of the Planet Patrol. Tasked with investigating a mysterious source of fireballs threatening Earth, the pair find themselves in a bizarre new reality, all thanks to a fortune teller's flair for the dramatic. Art by Fred Abranz, with a cover by Ralph Heimdahl, this 1956 Dell comic offers a delightfully surreal twist on classic Looney Tunes antics.
