Looking for Group #6

This sixth issue of Looking for Group from Dynamite Entertainment delivers one of the more delightfully surreal covers you'll find in 2015 — a clear and clever homage to Salvador Dalí's The Persistence of Memory, with the series' green-skinned, pink-bearded warlock draped limply over a bare tree branch, while two other characters slump across the dreamlike landscape alongside a melting, clock-like orb. The composition is genuinely witty, transplanting the cast into that famous barren shoreline with just the right amount of absurdist charm. Fans of the webcomic will appreciate how warmly the art leans into the joke without losing sight of the characters they know.
