Longshot #2
In "Die Nacht der Monster," Longshot is pulled into a desperate mission when Theo, a man on the brink, leaps from a bridge and lands in his path—only to confess that Con Edison has wronged him. Moved by the plea, Longshot plans a daring heist to steal diamonds from the power plant to make amends, unaware the electrified chaos inside will stir long-buried memories. As the city plunges into darkness and the stakes rise, Longshot faces a trio of enemies—Spiral, Gog, and Magog—whose true intentions threaten to unravel everything.
In "Man kann nicht alles verschenken...", Longshot finds himself at the center of a citywide manhunt after a diamond heist leaves his face in every headline. Seeking refuge, he bonds with a group of street-smart kids—Butch, Darla, and their friends—sharing some of the stolen gems and forming an unlikely alliance. When he’s ambushed by She-Hulk and Spider-Man, his powers help him escape, leading him back to the kids as they prepare for a mysterious monster hunt. As Longshot touches the gun they’re using, a flash of memory stirs—something from his past he can’t quite grasp. The hunt leads them into the unknown, where they’ll face a creature known as Magog, while far away, Mojo and Spiral arrive on Earth, teleporting directly into Rita’s home.
