Loki #3
The penultimate chapter of this 2011 Marvel limited series arrives with a cover by Travel Foreman that sets a striking, atmospheric tone — Loki strides forward in his horned helmet and fur-trimmed armor, torch in hand, while a brooding Thor looms behind him, and a haunting vision of robed figures gathered around a blazing pyre fills the shadowed space between them. The title "Funeral for a God" alone signals that writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Sebastián Fiumara are steering this story toward something weighty and mythologically resonant. With only one issue remaining, this third chapter feels like exactly the right moment for the God of Mischief to be carrying fire.
