Lobo Unbound #6

The finale of Lobo Unbound goes out exactly as you'd expect — with the Main Man bloodied, cigar clamped between his teeth, chain and hook in hand, and a speech bubble declaring "I WON!" amid a fiery hellscape of scattered skulls and bone fragments. Alex Horley's painted cover captures Lobo at his most triumphant and grotesque, every splatter of blood and ember in the background doing its part to sell the carnage. A fittingly over-the-top send-off to this six-issue DC mature-readers series from Giffen and Horley.
