“It's Bling Bling the Hip Hop Ho!”

The Main Man looks absolutely in his element on Alex Horley's painted cover for this third chapter of the six-part Lobo Unbound — the pale, muscle-bound bounty hunter looms large, bloodied machete and chained weapon in hand, grinning with unmistakable menace against a smoky, skull-strewn battlefield. At his feet, a red-haired woman armed with a pistol crouches defiantly, suggesting the chaos of this issue's story title — "It's Bling Bling the Hip Hop Ho!" — is well underway. With Giffen, Horley, and DeCarlo steering the mayhem, this 2003 mature-readers series remains one of the more entertainingly unhinged corners of DC's output.
