Little Max Comics #65
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLittle Max is in full motion on this charming 1960 Harvey Comics cover, riding a red cart being pulled by a very determined — and slightly grumpy — yellow goat, with a picture of Max himself dangling on a string just out of the goat's reach as the apparent lure. Warren Kremer's warm, expressive linework gives both the freckle-faced little redhead and his reluctant steed a delightful personality, capturing the playful slapstick energy that made this Joe Palooka spin-off a favorite for young readers. At just a dime, issue #65 is a lovely snapshot of Harvey Comics' knack for lighthearted, kid-friendly fun.
