Harvey Comics' pint-sized charmer is at it again in this 1955 entry in the Little Max series — a Joe Palooka spin-off title. The cover shows the red-haired little tyke on all fours, paint-bucket hat on his head and brush in hand, cheerfully slapping yellow paint across a wooden floor with the focused determination only a toddler could muster. It's the kind of warm, funny slice-of-childhood energy that made Harvey's humor line such a delight, all for a dime.
