Little Eva contains multiple stories. In the first story, a shady man in a red suit attempts to conduct a spy operation by passing a note to someone at a cigar store, but Eva and her friends spot him and follow, eventually discovering he is part of a spy ring. In another story titled "Too Many Dogs," Eva finds a group of orphaned, hungry dogs and tries various methods to get rid of them, including throwing a bone over a fence, but ultimately decides she must try something to help the strays.
