Little Archie Giant Comics #14
In "Webfooted Warbler," a spirited Little Archie flees home after a scolding, taking his loyal dog Spotty on a wild adventure across the ocean on a makeshift raft. When a passing ship destroys their raft, the two are left adrift in a thick fog, their desperate cries lost to the sea—leaving their fate uncertain. Written and illustrated by Bob Bolling, this 1960 classic captures a moment of youthful rebellion and peril with warmth and whimsy, all rendered in Bolling’s distinctive style. The cover by Bob Bolling perfectly captures the moment of high-stakes isolation.
