Lion #93 is an anthology featuring multiple serials and stories. The lead serial "Captain Condor" follows a space-pilot who, after being outlawed by a planetary dictator, lands on Earth to seek a scientist who can repair his damaged ship, but discovers a spy has radioed word of his arrival to the police. "The Amazing Adventures of Mr. X" by Edwin Dale relates how the narrator, posing as a British tourist, becomes caught up in a mystery involving sacred crocodiles and native intrigue near the Red Sea, ultimately rescuing a Secret Service agent held captive in a temple. The issue also includes "Adventures of Puncho," a humorous Western serial depicting Puncho and companions outwitting rustlers through clever tactics. Additional comic strips and advertisements round out the 1953 publication.
