Lion #43 is an anthology featuring three main stories: "Captain Condor—Space-Man of the Unknown Moon," in which the daring space pilot and his crew encounter a mysterious tiny man from a weird aircraft on an unknown moon and must use a transmitter ray to escape; "Cardoc," a sword-and-sandal tale where the warrior Cardoc proves unbeatable even against opponents armed with trident and net, and is ordered by the tyrant Gelda to fight the champion Ceros in the arena; and "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser," a school adventure by Tom Stirling about a boy who uses an invisibility device to outwit troublemakers at his school. The issue also includes a "World-Wide Quiz" feature with general knowledge questions.
