Gadgetman, Gimmick-Kid and the Trickster square off, but neither side is able to get the upper hand, and the Trickster escapes. The heroes follow but are knocked unconscious when the Brain-Men grab their leader. Gadgetman comes to only to find the still unconscious Gimmick-Kid in the clutches of the Trickster and his minions.
