Lightning Comics v3 #1

This is an anthology issue containing at least two stories. The main feature involves Lightning and a new ally called the Lightning Girl, who use their powers to combat criminals in an urban setting, with Lightning caught in a complex situation involving accusations of murder and attempts to prove his innocence through evidence. A secondary story, "Cappi Young," follows a young American volunteer named Cappi Young and his friend Braek Cooper as they aid Chinese resistance fighters on the dangerous Burma Road, where they encounter Japanese military forces and become involved in combat operations against enemy positions.
