Snarky Parker, a cunning and mischievous character, embarks on a series of misadventures involving butterflies, a damsel named Butterbelle, a scooter, and attempts to kidnap her. The story escalates as Snarky pursues Butterbelle across various locations—from a mountainous casino to a scooter chase through the countryside—leading to comedic disasters including a rope entanglement, a encounter with a frog, and an encounter with a giant ladybug. Throughout his bumbling efforts, Snarky is repeatedly thwarted by the appearance of obstacles, angry characters, and his own incompetence, culminating in explosive and chaotic moments that leave him defeated.

Contains 3 stories
Gold Dust
15 pp · Humor, Children

When Snarky Parker agrees to help a man haul gold dust from the hills, he has no idea that a pair of crooks is following his every move—or that they'll use a flying saucer hoax to distract the whole town while they make their play. With Miss Butterbelle and her father caught in the chaos, Snarky must juggle his duties as sheriff while keeping one eye on the real threat lurking beneath all the commotion in Hot Rock.

Oh, you Kid-Napper
9 pp · Humor, Children

Snarky Parker heads to the fishing pond for a day of fun, but returns to discover that his friend Butter has been kidnapped by Ronald R., a scheming rat demanding a ransom of 55½ pounds of assorted cheese. With help from Paw and a trusty magnifying glass, Snarky sets out to track down the culprit and rescue Butter before it's too late.

The Mighty Atom
5 pp · Humor, Children

Snarky Parker faces eviction when a loud-mouthed bailiff arrives with a notice, but the pint-sized Pee-Wee Powerhouse steps in to help—not with his fists, but with a brazen wager about who has the mightier voice. When the two put their booming abilities to the test, the results prove louder than anyone expected.
