Li'l Tomboy #98

When Li'l Tomboy shows up at the office on the day her pop is expecting an important buyer, chaos naturally follows—but in a way that might just save the deal. Her antics keep the gruff Mr. Hardly off-balance, from her innocent questions about his umbrella to her enthusiastic (if misguided) attempts to adjust the office temperature. By the time the dust settles, this pint-sized pest may have accidentally done her old man the biggest favor of his career.

Li'l Farmboy reluctantly delivers eggs to a girls' camp and finds himself the center of attention—which only makes him more flustered and eager to escape. When one of the campers gets into real trouble near the falls, he has to put aside his shyness to help, leading to an unexpected (and messy) conclusion.

Li'l Tomboy volunteers to baby sit for the evening, but a burglar disguises himself as the sleeping child to case the house—only to find himself on the receiving end of some determined parenting when Li'l Tomboy mistakes him for a misbehaving kid. A clever bit of comic chaos unfolds as the would-be thief gets far more than he bargained for while trying to stay in character.

Li'l Tomboy gives a young fighter some spirited (if unconventional) coaching advice during a boxing match in "Keep Swinging." With encouragement like hers, this scrappy underdog might just find a way to land a punch—or at least wear down his opponent through sheer determination.
