Each new sign she puts up only creates wilder situations, and by the time her parents return home, the house has become the neighborhood's most confusing destination, landing Li'l Tomboy in her usual kind of trouble.
When Pop tries to convince Li'l Tomboy that girls should be more ladylike, he ends up telling her a story about how her mother earned her place among the neighborhood kids—by proving herself tough enough to join their club. As Pop reveals what really made Li'l Tomboy's mom who she is today, the irrepressible tomboy realizes she's got some big shoes to fill.

Eddie Extra agrees to watch a neighbor's baby, but when the buggy rolls downhill, a wild chase through town sends both Eddie and little Bobby bouncing from one mishap to the next. With the baby miraculously unscathed through it all, Eddie's got some nervous explaining to do when the mother returns—if she ever finds out what really happened!
Li'l Tomboy gets her hands on an experimental treasure detector invented by her uncle and decides to take it for a test drive around town—with hilariously chaotic results. Whether she's exposing fake jewelry at a fancy event or hunting for buried treasure in a farmer's root cellar, the machine has a knack for creating trouble wherever it goes.
