Li'l Jinx is in full mischief mode on this May 1957 Archie Series issue, as the pigtailed blonde heroine gleefully pilots her tiger-striped "Toymobile" pedal car while cheerfully asking, "I drive just like Mummy, don't I, Daddy?" — leaving her wide-eyed father frozen in the background, shovel in hand and clearly horrified by the comparison. Joe Edwards brings his signature warmth and comic timing to every line of this cover, capturing perfectly the gentle generational humor that made Li'l Jinx such an endearing part of the Archie lineup. At a dime a copy, this is vintage slice-of-life fun at its most charming.
