"Let's Pretend" #2 is an anthology featuring fantasy and fairy-tale adaptations. "The White Cat" depicts a royal succession challenge where a king asks his sons to find the funniest dog within a year; the youngest prince discovers an enchanted white cat in a castle who assists him in the competition. Another story follows Margaret, who obtains a magical cooking pot from an old woman in the forest that produces endless porridge when given the command "Cook, little pot, cook"—when the pot malfunctions and floods the town with porridge, Margaret must desperately cry "Stop, little pot" to halt the deluge. A third story features a giant encountering tiny people, with his family attempting to use the diminutive humans as food while keeping them hidden from the giant's arrival.
