Sylvain Frécon's #LesMémés returns with a subtitle that says it all — Mourir peut encore attendre ("Dying can wait a little longer"). The cover sets the tone perfectly: a row of gym treadmills packed with very determined, very exhausted seniors, including one stout grandma in a pink top who has practically collapsed onto her machine while her fellow exercisers push on around her. It's the kind of warmly observed, affectionate humor about aging that makes this Fluide Glacial series such a delight — proof that growing older doesn't have to mean slowing down, even when every muscle is screaming otherwise.
