Les Rugbymen #10

Volume 10 of Béka and Poupard's beloved French rugby comedy series finds the gang — apparently — taking their chaos international, as the cover drops three boisterous players (complete with boots, jerseys, and a stray ball) crashing into a serene Japanese hot-spring scene, much to the horror of the elegant geisha bathing there, with Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms providing a picture-perfect backdrop they're thoroughly ruining. The tagline "Les gars, ensemble, on est un groupe électrogène !" ("Guys, together, we're a generator!") perfectly captures the boundless, unstoppable energy Béka and Poupard bring to every page. A warm, laugh-out-loud entry in this long-running Bamboo Édition series that proves rugby players and tranquil onsen do not mix — and that's exactly the point.
