Les Pirates de Barataria #9

The ninth chapter of Glénat's Les Pirates de Barataria arrives in 2016 with a cover by Franck Bonnet that sets a brooding, atmospheric tone — a steam-powered vessel pushes forward through pale, hazy waters, black smoke billowing from its stack, while a tall-masted sailing ship lingers in the misty distance behind it. Figures can be glimpsed aboard the steamship, the contrast between the two vessels hinting at a world caught between eras.
