Le clou du spectacle — "the highlight of the show" — and this cover delivers on that promise with gleeful energy. Vincent Cuvellier and Benoît Audé fill the lavender backdrop with a whirlwind scene: a flamboyant, long-nosed piper in a feathered hat and orange costume plays his clarinet while musical notes swirl through the air, sending two kids on the left dancing with arms raised and a third on the right stumbling in alarm, all as a bird takes flight and a pair of mice scramble below. It's the kind of delightfully chaotic ensemble that makes this BD Kids series such a treat for young readers in 2024.
