Les noces d'argot #2

La Terre du Limon Noir brings the second chapter of Les Noces d'Argot to life with a cover steeped in smoky, street-level atmosphere. Golo's artwork places us at the threshold of an Arabic-signed café or bar, where a broad-shouldered man with a mustache stands at the entrance, a shadowy figure looming to his left and a turbaned older man visible inside — the whole scene humming with quiet tension. Frank and Golo's 1984 Dargaud series clearly has a taste for gritty urban worlds where cultural crossroads and unease go hand in hand.
