Les naufragés du temps #1
A lone figure stands atop what appears to be a makeshift wooden raft or vessel, pistol in hand, surrounded by strange winged creatures drifting through a muted, otherworldly atmosphere — Paul Gillon's cover for this 2008 Glénat release sets an immediately compelling tone. Jean-Claude Forest and Gillon open their Les Naufragés du Temps series with "L'étoile endormie," promising a science-fiction adventure adrift in time and space. Recommended by the French Sci Fi channel, this first volume looks like an excellent entry point into a thoughtful, atmospheric Franco-Belgian series.
