Shuzo Oshimi's unsettling psychological seinen continues with this ninth volume from Ki-oon, and the cover alone captures everything that makes the series so compelling. A young child rendered in muted pencil-sketch tones stands at the center, their wide, haunted eyes stained red, while ghostly figures — a woman with vivid red hair on the left and another presence looming at the right — bleed into the background like memories that refuse to fade. The stark contrast between the child's grayscale stillness and the overwhelming crimson surrounding them makes this one of the most quietly affecting covers in the 2021 run of the series.
