The twelfth volume of this beloved French comedy series delivers another round of bumbling law-enforcement antics, with the cover setting the tone perfectly: a gendarme in uniform peers out from inside a broken-down speed camera ("En Panne"), wielding a massive camera of his own, while a bemused colleague and a bewildered repairman — toolbox in hand — look on in disbelief. Tête à clic! is a cheeky nod to photography and the chaos that ensues when the forces of order meet technology they can barely handle. Fans of Jenfevre, Silboe, and Crénove's warmly absurd humor will find plenty to enjoy in this 2009 Bamboo Édition entry.
