Les formidables aventures de Lapinot #3
In "Walter," Lewis Trondheim brings his signature whimsy and wit to a turn-of-the-century Paris where Lapinot, his journalist neighbor, and Inspector Boulanger must deal with a sudden surge of monstrous mice—two meters tall and bristling with spikes. The chaos stems from the mischievous experiments of the eccentric Professor Walter, whose adrenalin-triggered transformation formula has gone hilariously, dangerously awry. With Trondheim handling every aspect of the art and lettering, and his distinctive cover style on full display, this 1996 Dargaud gem blends historical flair with absurd sci-fi fun.
