Les aventures de l'étalon noir #2
The second album in Hachette's French adaptation of Walter Farley's Black Stallion saga, "Black contre Satan" arrives with a cover by Michel Faure that crackles with urgency — a young blond rider clings desperately to a dark stallion as a wall of fire roars all around them, with other horses bolting through the inferno beside them. Faure's painted artwork captures the heat and chaos beautifully, the orange and red flames filling every corner of the image with breathless momentum. A thrilling 1982 entry in Les Aventures de l'Étalon Noir that fans of adventure comics and horse stories will find hard to put down.
