This eleventh volume of Les Arcanes du Midi-Minuit, subtitled L'Affaire des Origines, Épisode 1: Jim McKalan, promises a moody mystery steeped in noir atmosphere, brought to life by the creative team of Gaudin and Trichet for Soleil in 2014. Fans of atmospheric, character-driven French comics will find plenty to savor in this opening episode of what looks to be a deeply personal case for McKalan.
