The penultimate issue of this Dynamite anthology series brings together an impressive lineup of talent — Gail Simone, Marjorie Liu, Mercedes Lackey, Jack Jadson, Phil Noto, and Nei Ruffino — for "Jenny's Story: Parallax." Jay Anacleto's cover painting is a brooding, atmospheric piece: Red Sonja, clad in her chain mail and shield in hand, grapples with the fur of a massive, snarling beast looming over her from the shadows, her expression calm and resolute in the face of its bared teeth. It's a beautifully rendered image that captures the She-Devil's defining quality — unshakeable nerve when the odds are at their worst.
