Georges Ramaïoli adapts James Fenimore Cooper's enduring novel The Last of the Mohicans in this second volume of the Dutch-language Leather Stocking Kronieken series, published by Dark Dragon Books in 2021. The cover — rendered in Ramaïoli's own pencils and inks — presents a striking tableau on a rocky mountain ledge: a standing Native American warrior in full regalia, tomahawk in hand, looks down upon a fallen figure stretched across the stone below, with a dense pine forest and jagged peaks filling the background.
