Leading Screen Comics #77

A mischievous fox clutches a magnet over a trash can while a grinning little pig looks on approvingly — all as a toy plane zips through the sky above them, unaware of the chaos about to unfold. The fox's gleeful speech bubble ("Haw! Haw! I'll fix Peter's plane! This magnet of mine will attract ANYTHING!") sets up a wonderfully silly bit of cartoon scheming, rendered with cheerful energy by Otto Feuer. This August–September 1955 issue of Leading Screen Comics serves up exactly the kind of lighthearted, all-ages fun that made DC's humor anthology a treat for young readers of the era.
