Leading Screen Comics #74
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA cheerful burst of slapstick mischief, Leading Screen Comics #74 from 1955 features Otto Feuer's cover of two cartoon animal pals — a wide-eyed pink bear cub in red overalls and a brown dog — caught in a musical catastrophe, as an overzealous breath into a French horn sends a pair of boots flying out the bell while a trombone clatters to the floor below. The little bear's sheepish speech bubble — "Oops! I guess I took too deep a breath that time!" — says it all, setting a perfectly playful tone for the "Circus Blues!" story inside. DC's funny-animal lineup rarely looked more delightfully chaotic than in this charming ten-cent gem.
