This volume collects the first part of an adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's classic short story 'The Portrait,' originally published in 2006 by Editions Carabas as part of the 'Tournon Divers' line. The graphic novel follows the tale of a young artist who discovers a mysterious and seemingly magical portrait that exerts a dark influence on those who come into contact with it.
