This first volume of Le Petit Spirou collects the earliest adventures of the mischievous young version of Spirou, created by Tome and Janry. Set in a school and neighborhood environment, the stories follow Spirou and his friends—including Vertignasse, Suzette, and Boule-de-gras—as they navigate childhood pranks, first crushes, and run-ins with authority figures like the stern Mégot and the mysterious Masseur. Originally published in 1990 by Dupuis, this album introduces the irreverent humor and nostalgic tone that define the long-running prequel series.
