Inspired by the legendary Citroën Croisière Jaune expedition across Asia, Hautière and Poitevin's third episode — "Mauvaises rencontres" (Bad Encounters) — promises trouble on the open desert road. The cover, drawn and inked by Arnaud Poitevin, sets the scene beautifully: a rugged vintage expedition vehicle kicks up dust as a mounted horseman bearing a trident closes in from the right, while in the foreground a glamorous woman in period dress and jewels looks on with an air of knowing composure. It's a richly atmospheric blend of adventure and elegance that makes this 2013 Soleil album a compelling addition to the series.

Juin 1931.
